Each year IERA holds a conference at a different location around the world, often sponsored by a participating University. IERA members and industry specialists are invited to submit papers to present at each conference, in accordance with the relevant theme chosen for that year, and the paper guidelines stipulated.
The 2016 Conference was held at Academies Australasia Polytechnic, Bourke St. Melbourne, Australia from 11-13 July 2016. Highlights included Professor Christina Cregan’s keynote address and the conference dinner at the Red Spice Road Restaurant in CBD Melbourne. All those attending rated the conference as both very enjoyable and successful.

The Conference : Organised by International Employment Relations Association (IERA), the 2017 IERA Conference will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The IERA 2017 Conference aims to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and professionals from industry, academia and government to discourse on research and development, professional practice in the related field of study. It also serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving Employment Relations.

– The objective of this conference is to be the main academic reference on research and practice in South East Asia.
– Our objective is to bring together the most influential researchers and experts in the region during 3 days in order to discuss and exchange, through workshops and the conference, the latest challenges brought by International Employment Relations.
